They are now looking for a Tooling Supervisor to join their team in Castlepollard. As the Tooling Supervisor, you’ll oversee the Toolroom Team and ensure that they deliver fit-for-purpose blow moulds and fixtures within set timescales. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will: - Identify training needs within your team. - Develop tooling designs in-line with customer specifications. - Design and/or specify tooling requirements to support manufacturing processes. - Modify moulds and fixtures. - Manage the toolroom’s engineering equipment and resources. - Identify potential issues in the production process and recommend improvements. To be considered, you will need: - To have completed a craft apprenticeship in toolmaking and have extensive experience at management level. - Experience of CNC programming, SolidWorks and CAD/CAM software. - Previous experience of applying problem-solving techniques. - Excellent stakeholder management skills. - The ability to troubleshoot process and equipment in a logical manner to resolve the issues. Decisive and pragmatic, as the Tooling Supervisor, you’ll be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. You’ll also have a hands-on approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.
