Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to be based inCo. Galway . As Procurement Specialist you will work for our Healthcare client. This role is a permanent job . As Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for purchasing of all materials, and ensuring customer satisfaction . Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for sourcing and procurement of new products. Ensuring purchasing best practice techniques are utilized in the achievement of company objectives. Ensuring at all times vendor delivery, quality and cost performances adhere to expectations. Supplier Management and review KPI’s. Implementation of sourcing and commodity strategies for all goods/services. Inventory Management. Effective communication within the company and with the vendor community ensuring messages and instructions are correctly and promptly progressed or actioned. Hands on management of vendors ensuring the expected levels of performance are achieved. Preparing and presenting, and where relevant supporting the Materials Manager in preparing and presenting accurate reports to Senior Management. Essential Criteria: You must have a degree in Business or Supply Chain. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a buying/sourcing job. Knowledge of order management, planning and scheduling. Strong ERP experience. Act on own initiative, strong IT, administrative, planning, organisation and communication skills.
