Established in 2012 our Client is a fast growing FMCG company, providing a full-service solution to 3rd party clients who are looking to outsource their logistics and elements of their sales & marketing efforts on the Island of Ireland. Teamworx are currently recruiting a Demand Planner to join their Supply Chain team in their Ashbourne facility, with responsibility for a number of key accounts. Role and Responsibilities: Responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory from purchase requisition to customer invoice for two key clients, including: Maintaining inventory holding to support targeted customer service levels and controlling stock levels to specified targeted tolerances. Inventory order placement with Clients to maintain appropriate stock holding. Ensuring appropriate metrics are applied to each supplier/product including lead-times, minimum order quantities, economic order quantities and order cycles. Collation and analysis all data pertinent to creating a robust sales forecast (eg. seasonality, promotional uplifts, etc) with appropriate input from internal and external sources (eg. Client National Accounts and Field Sales, Internal Telesales, etc.) Collaborative forecasting with Client, allowing them to manage their own production and commercial forecasts. Prepare, report and communicate forecast and inventory KPIs to management and Client. Measurement of supplier performance, focussing on improvement, and report issues to key stakeholders. Conduct root cause analysis when necessary. Essential Requirements for this role are: Third level qualification. 3 years' experience in a demand planning/inventory management role. Proficient in MS Office suite with exceptional Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc. Good understanding of supply chain metrics. Strong customer service skills, including good verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical abilities. Detail oriented with extreme accuracy. Hard working, pro-active and results driven. Reliable, conscientious and able to act under own initiative. Able to prioritise workload, adhering to deadlines and ensuring all issues/queries are followed through to completion.
