Your Job Purpose. Working with the LotusWorks team as a Utilities Engineer you will be responsible for the operation and compliance with all regulatory, statutory and client corporate requirements for utility systems such as Chilled Water, Heating Water, HVAC, RO and Compressed air systems. You will work closely with operations to resolve any issues that arise and will form part of the overall site goal of maximising asset performance. Responsibilities: Responsible and accountable for the safe accomplishment of daily activities within the maintenance team, whilst following all statutory, environmental, regulatory (cGMP), corporate site and team practices and procedures. Ensuring that housekeeping standards in the utilities are maintained to a very high standard. Managing the operation of all site utilities equipment. Assisting in construction, commissioning and qualification of utilities equipment. Monitoring of utility operations to ensure optimum energy efficiency and uptime. Providing technical assistance to maintenance personnel and other teams as required. Developing utilities procedures and equipment files. Assisting with generation, review and revision of utilities documentation as necessary. Creating and managing utility maintenance contracts and contractors. Assisting in the selection of appropriate spare parts to ensure maximum availability of equipment. Assisting Engineering in executing projects. Training and coaching maintenance technicians in utility procedures and techniques, as required. Continuously driving cGMP awareness in utility operations amongst staff. Requirements: The successful candidate will have. Degree in Mechanical engineering with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. OR utilities engineering experience with at least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role. Maintenance experience within a GMP regulated environment. Must have athorough understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, industry practices and standards. Must be able to exercise judgement within generally well-defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Desirable: Six Sigma qualification. Benefits. Life Assurance.
