The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accommodation Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall running of the Accommodation department together with and in the absence of the Accommodation Manager. Duties include: - Allocating work duties /cleaning lists to Accommodation Asssistants/ Porterson adaily basis. - Carrying out routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms. - Reporting and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues. - Oversees implementation of deep cleaning programs, maintenance reporting and follow-up. - Conducting daily and weekly trainingto ensure compliance with standards.- Ensuringall rooms & Front of House areas are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard at all times-Liaising & communicatingwith Front Office and Reservationsregarding room status. The ideal candidate will possess the following: At least 1 years` experience in an Assistant Accommodation Manager Role. Excellent customer service & communication skills. Be a good team leader. Excellent attention to detail. Goodorganisational & interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work. Fluency in both written and oral English. Good IT skills.
